Return, Reflections, Rejuvenating

Woodstock! 40 years later..boy, do I suddenly feel vintage. It was fun to visit...but unfortunately it was cut short by a torrential downpour . I'm talking gully washers. I was just happy to check it out. More photos later. I a m recouping from a rather exhausting trip.THe workshop was good, but not as fufilling as I had hoped. However, sometimes you get the message not from the journey you had expected, rather a discovery of something you had all along. THink: The Wizard of OZ. more later. "All journeys have secret destinations of which the traveler is unaware."

  1. Oh Pam, talk about syncronicity. Joe posted on this a while back. It would seem that as small as this world gets through travel and blogging....there really is, NO place like home.

  2. I'm glad you're back home. Now get some rest so you can tell us all about your travels later on.

  4. Wonder about the symbolism of the gully washers.
Funny how we find things hidden in our own back yard.
Looking forward to hearing about it.

  6. Welcome home. As Auda abu Tayi said to Colonel Brighton in Lawrence of Arabia: “When you get what you want, you’ll go home too.” Sometimes getting what we want is realizing that it was back home all along.
