My tribute to Farrah and Michael
For Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson.... We , as fans, never really get to know a celebrity, what they are truly like as human beings. I think Farrah gave us a tremendous gift by letting us all into her private life ..baring to the world the struggles of fighting cancer. She showed us just what kind of person she was. More..a lot more...than a pretty face. I remember wishing I had her hair..now I only hope that I can have her courage and tenacity. Michael Jackson has been maligned for years for his eccentricities, I believe he was misunderstood. He just didn't fit into society's definitions. He was a lost little boy looking for a childhood he never had. If only we all had his childlike qualities and tender heart. He finally has peace now.

Great tribute, Pammie. I agree with everything you said. I watched Farrah's film on NBC tonight along with a box of Kleenex. It will be with me for a long time.
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear the Florida weather is more suitable than Charleston :-)
