Of Tortoises and Art

As you may recall, I  rescued this Gopher tortoise a few week ago,, happy to report all is well with her now! ....So, last week I was driving home and walking across the 4 lane highway is ANOTHER tortoise! you guessed it, I slammed on the brakes, stopped traffic and gathered him up.  He had a big chunk out of his shell so off we went to the Conservancy!  I am now known as Gopher Tortoise Woman..haha!   They are on the endangered list and I am more than willing to do what it takes to save one! ha!Wall of art from our lil studio.  All the kids come over and create, then we post it on the wall!

This book is a great book! I have been drawing fairies and mermaids from it!  It is an Usborne  published book and they have an incredible line of art books for kids and er, uhhh adults!~~"Keep your love of Nature , for that is the true way to understand art more and more"~  Van Gogh
