One of the main reasons I love to ride my bike everywhere is to discover all the secret places that one would miss if driving a car!
Actually this is in a gated community that you can only get in by bike anyway. There are beautiful trails for miles.A long wooden pier meanders through the Mangroves and it is so peaceful and serene. At the end of the pier..this is the view...
Rarely do I ever see another person...but I saw dolphins chasing their dinner! no matter how crappy things might be sometimes...this is bliss.

I painted a piece of cardboard ,then folded it in half...it is going to be a cover for a journal I'm making out of watercolor paper and
some other papers I have lying around. I think the flamingo is from a card .. an Anahata Katka card...

Belly Dance....
A few of you who know me also know that a few years ago I took belly dancing. I loved it. My instructor moved away and that was that. After listening to all this gypsy music ..and having some vino last night , I pulled out my belly coin scarf(scared the dogs , they ran the other way...which is probably all well and good!)
Thses photos were taken 4 yrs ago: btw.
Anyway, there are classes in Naples! Yay . I think I'll sign up soon. Belly dance is fun.... great music and costumes...fun exercise.. . You can let your inner 'Goddess" out to play. My favorite style is Tribal Fusion, of course. Chek it out HERE

Some art and shock! A photo of moi ....
I finally have an up to date photo of myself. I hate having my picture taken. I took this one ..it isn't too bad. I am totally not photogenic..hah I took a ton of pics and this was the only one that looked decent! I've been in Florida a year and I can already tell that the sun is aging my skin, even tho I use sunscreen. Being outside is a major part of who I am and it is very hard to stay out of the Sun.
I worked on a mixed media painting..I realized that many of my people have hats or scarves ! It just happens..hah. I a malso working on an ATC swap as well as a round robin Pass and Paint with my Glitter Sister blogging friends. Ciao for now and keep dancing!!!

If I were a poem, I’d have to say, even tho cliche....
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
