I did this sketch at the Cocohatchee Preserve...en plein air.(while i was having my morning coffee from Dunkin donuts..hahah) I am not a 'drawing kind of gal" . After buying Danny Gregory's book Every Day Matters to try and improve I finally gave it away...... it drove me crazy to try to draw every seed on a bagel..haha
believe me, you won't see many sketches from moi.
I have been doodling with my extra fine point sharpie quite a lot in my journal..Above.. And these 3 panels below are a paint and pass I am doing with 8 friends! It is really cool. Each person paints a background and it gets sent to the next one in line to add something! I added the turtle on one..... THe Palm Trees.... and the green shore/bank
It is cool to see what each person adds!
believe me, you won't see many sketches from moi.
Lovin' it!
ReplyDeleteGreat to see how your inspiration manifested in these. Isn't art so much FUN?
Oh yeah!
Love all of your work.

It's so fun to see the evolution of your "paint & pass" projects.
ReplyDeleteI think that your sketch at the top is beautiful.

What a fun and inspiring thing to do. Each one is beautiful. I hope you post the final art piece.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week.
Bright blessings,
Kathy
I think that is fun. I've seen blogging books that travel, blogging dolls that traves, canvas that trave. It's so much fun to see what the next person is going to add. Great work Pam. I love the palm trees.
ReplyDeleteI love your sketches and paintings. This is so fun watching the paintings grow as they pass on by. Mahala's just arrived today - I gotta get crackin'...
ReplyDeleteI think if someone looks at another persons art and can feel themselves in the painting, then it's good art. I can place myself in your sketch, and I can sit quietly and see that cormorant drying it's wings. Good job, glittergirl! xoxo
ReplyDeleteTHan kyou all for your comments! It is hard to objective about my drawings!
ReplyDeleteI love that idea Pam. What a thrill it would be to have a little bit of everyones art. Who ends up with the pieces? The autumn weather here is superb! Don't you just love May!!
